New Artist: S1K Prince
S1K Prince, the Detroit Based music artist, is a towering figure in both stature and talent. Growing up in a family of hustlers and rappers with roots in Detroit, North Carolina, and Brooklyn, he was immersed in a rich tapestry of musical influences and cultural backgrounds. At the young age of 10, he began rapping. This was inspired by his uncle’s love for music and father's legacy in the industry; and Prince aimed to forge his own path. Despite consistently excelling academically and being held in high regard in his neighborhoods, Prince's life took a pivotal turn at 12, where he endured a tremendous period of hardship that lasted well into his adult life. This phase propelled him to soul-search, acquire wisdom, and delve deeper into his craft. During his college years in New Orleans, he was profoundly influenced by the city's vibrant music and nightlife culture, which played a significant role in shaping his artistry. His very first performance was a standout moment, as he created the opportunity to be an opening act for both Big KRIT and Sevyn Streeter. This marked the beginning of a promising music career. With a compelling story to share, S1K Prince uses his music to express the trials and triumphs of his journey. He captivates his audiences by underscoring the theme of Rags to Riches and highlighting a motif of Haute Living.
